“Belavia” Airline to resume flights to Turkmenistan

“Belavia” Belarusian airline plans to resume flights to Turkmenistan, the official website of the Embassy of Belarus in Turkmenistan reports.

“Belavia” Airlines will operate flights on the route Minsk – Turkmenbashi – Minsk. Departure from Minsk to Turkmenbashi on Tuesdays, from Turkmenbashi to Minsk – on Wednesdays.

It is expected that the first flight will be on October 11 – 12, 2022.

Let’s remind that the regular air connection of Turkmenistan with Belarus was suspended in March 2020 due to a global pandemic. “Belavia” operated a regular flight on the Minsk–Ashgabat–Minsk route once a week on Boeing 737 aircraft.

Currently, “Belavia” operates flights to 16 airports in eight countries.
