Meeting of ministers of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkey and Georgia takes place in Aktau

BAKU. KAZINFORM – At the meeting, it is planned to sign the “Roadmap for 2022-2027” for the development and operation of the “Middle Corridor” route passing through Turkey, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, in accordance with the Baku Declaration, Kazinform’s own correspondent reports.

Aktau is hosting the second trilateral meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Transport of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Turkey. The meeting is attended by Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, Kazakh Foreign Minister Mukhtar Tleuberdi. A Georgian delegation is also participating in the meeting.

The first meeting of ministers took place in Baku on June 27, during which the Baku Declaration was adopted. The document implies cooperation in the field of transport and communications. It is assumed that the main topics of discussions in Aktau will be the enhancement of trilateral and regional cooperation and the development of the potential of the East-West Middle Corridor through the Caspian Sea.
